Chefchaoeun, or "The Blue Pearl," is a tourist destination for both Moroccans and international backpackers. It's beautiful, quiet...and it took us awhile to realize that the chill vibe is due in part to the quantity of hash grown in the surrounding Rif Mountains. (In case you’re like us and have no idea how to pronounce the name, here’s a rough guide: chef-CHOW-en.)
