MARRAKECH

After Merzouga, we were excited to get back to a city. Marrakech is chaotic and beautiful. We decided to buy most of our souvenirs for the trip here, so we did a lot of shopping.

I don't have pictures of the cafe our van stopped at on the way from Merzouga to Marrakech, but I do remember that Brandon and I each ordered spaghetti. We were so. sick. of tagine. Also these puppies were there.

Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where we met our riad host so he could show us the way to the hotel. We were a couple hours late because a girl in our van had gotten really carsick on the hilly roads and had to stop several times to throw up. (She was the only local in the van; the rest of us were tourists. We tried giving her water and GinGins, but it was pretty hopeless and obviously miserable...we felt so bad).

Out on the town with our giant bottle of water! We found someone selling coconut and pineapple slices, too.
