We convinced my brother, Sam, and his fiancee (now wife!) Rashaun to meet up with us for a couple of weeks. The original plan was Indonesia, but there was a big volcano threatening to erupt on Bali so we switched gears last minute. Sam and Rashaun did all the planning for Japan; we just followed along!
